Barette Terese Vance, a native of Laguna Hills, California began her dance training at the age of three at Saddleback Dance Center. During the ensuing years Ms Vance also had the opportunity to train with such notable teachers as Cynthia Gregory and Ann Marie D'Angelo. In the fall of 1998, at the age of 14 and after attending the SAB summer program for two consecutive summers, Ms. Vance was offered a scholarship to attend the year round program at The School of American Ballet, where she honed her skills for the next five years. During this period, she also completed summer intensive programs on scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Miami City Ballet.
