The reason for my low review has nothing to do with quality and everything to do with sizing. I rec'd a regular pair of these shoes as a gift and they were too narrow for my wide foot (I take a AAA shoe). I purchased the wide width and found there was no discernible difference between the wide and the regular so I will return them. This is simply a warning to those with a wide foot that the wides may not work for you depending upon how wide your wide is. Otherwise, the rep was very pleasant and helpful and the shoes themselves are fine.

Last year I returned a similar shoe in the "c series". I ordered 8.5w,
despite the sticker "W" on the sole, it look and felt like a medium.
My question is would I have same problem if I order the "Classic Series"
Wide Width?
The item is a wide width, but depending on the brand it may not be wide enough. Different brands are more narrow than others. The classiz series is the same brand, so it would fit the same. - DDS Customer Service (03/07/2013)
