Adult Organza Tutu

I know its not as long as a professional (pancake) tutu would be, but does it "poof" out like pictured or flow down more like a short romantic tutu?

This bando tutu is meant to poof straight out. It is not meant to hang down but to have layers that go out from the sides.

Does the tutu just come with an elastic waist band? Or are there briefs attached to prevent it from riding up?

The tutu material is on an elastic band, but there are no briefs attached.

my baby girl wants to have a tutu party with five of her best friends she loves this tutu but wants to stand out at her party. she is an A honor roll little girl this is the only thing she has asked of her father and I. she is truning eight years old this year so could you plases help me...

These only come in solid colors. You can see the color choices listed on the tutu. If you are looking for a two tone tutu I would suggest style #4899, style #SK778, style #C28281, or style #N8648C (those these only come in child sizes). If you are looking for an adult tutu I would suggest style #A1702, style #C28306LG, or style #A1713.

The elastic band is flush with the organza. It does not stick up higher than the top of the organza.

This tutu is a 5 layer tutu 8" in length waist unstretched is 26" ans stretches to 40"

The answer is that it is for teens/adults. I bought this for my 9 year old and it is WAY too big. The package says 90-160 pounds. My 9 year old is only about 50 pounds. It's the wasteband that will be too large for kids. I thought this little tutu was for kids--I wish the description was a little more prominent regarding sizing. - Katieb123 (05/19/2013)
