Chicago,ILThese would be great shoes if you get the right size.
My feet are very standard 6.5 in street shoes. Only S and P were available and I read the reviews, so I got the S expecting them to be small. It's hard to put them on, but once they're on I don't actually feel that restricted, even though they hug my feet really tight and my toes' silhouette can be clearly seen. After 1 hr of dancing there were some minor pressing marks on my skin, and no visible tear or wear on the shoes.

09/09/2015These run really small. I ordered Women's size 6-7 small for my daughter who wears a 6. Way to small! I wear a 5 1/2 and too small for me too. Ordering larger size , hopefully better.

07/14/2015After reading review's I decided to order two different sizes. S and M. Well, the S was way too small. Definitely does not fit a women who wears a 6/7,more like a 4/5. My daughter wears a women's 5/6 in street shoes and the M which is a 8/9 I believe, fits her perfectly. Very comfortable and stylish shoes. Also affordable which is important when one is paying for multiple dance classes! :)

06/15/2015I had to really work hard to stretch shoes to the size. Unfortunately, they run small. Once I stretched shoes for my feet, they are the best supporting shoes ever! I would recommend these shoes for anyone, but go a size bigger!

06/04/2015I read all the reviews about this that said to size up so I did. I ordered the Medium in a size 8-9 - I usually run about an 8 so I thought I would be ok. There is NO way these would fit a nine. However, I couldn't even try the larger size because the Large is the stock that was completely sold out. Size up two sizes!

06/02/2015I ordered these in size Petite. My daughter wears a 1 1/2-2 shoe and they were too small. I had to order another pair is size Small (and paid extra for both to be rushed so they would be in time for her recital). The Small fit well and they are comfortable.

04/28/2015I ordered 2 of these in current size and a size larger for my daughter. The size P was very small, not a 4-5 as listed. I would say it would fit a size 2-3. The small is more like a size 5-5 1/2. Overall it is a great shoe. Love the additional strap for the ankle.

04/21/2015From the moment I got them, they fit like a glove, they are stretchy so my feet are free to move, they give an excellent arch support, the extra band they come with is not even necessary, no sewing elastics is needed and that was great they can be worn right out of the package, the price was more that great, after I got the first pair I got a second and third in each color.
My only complaint is durability, I dance 5 days a week for about two hours a day, I usually switch shoes during class depending on the part of the class so I didn't even wear them the full class, This shoes didn't last me 3 months, the stitches in the sole started to come undone very soon, but for the price I paid well I just got a new pair.

03/26/2015The price was great and the quality was great. Shoe fit true to size and with my daughter's feet larger than the size most stores carry, I was worried that these shoes would not fit properly, however, they are great!! Delivery was quick also!! Thanks DDS!!

03/19/2015I absolutely love these shoes. Comfortable and you can really feel the floor in them. I know other reviews have said they aren't durable but I dance in them 5 hours a day six days a week and they've held up just fine. sad to hear they are discontinuing them.

02/18/2015I love these shoes! I'm a dance teacher and I wear these shoes for every class. Ballet, jazz and creative movement classes ~ they're really comfortable and versatile. I wear a 9 (M) but ordered up to the large (10-11) they fit just how I like them. I also have a wide foot, but these work out great.

01/13/2015I love these shoes! They are very comfortable, feels like nothing is on your feet. The problem is that the quality is only low to medium. I have worn out 3 pairs in 4 months. At this price, that is not a problem. Many have said these run small, but as a male dancer I know that my size is a 13 in dance (lady) sizes so I ordered an XXL and they fit the first time. I highly recomend these but be warned they will only last about 15-20 hours of class time.

01/11/2015I got these for my daughter that wears a size 6. The Medium on the shoe says 6.5. It's not US size 6.5. She could barely get her foot in it. My other daughter that wears size 3.5 got them on perfectly and loves the way they feel. There is an elastic band that can attach to the back around the ankle so even if you got a pair a little bit big, you can adjust them. I will be ordering larger, but disappointed I have to order again.

01/09/2015We had to buy these shoes for dance. They do not last long. One pair only last a few weeks. I'm not sorry to see that they are being discontinued. We were able to buy them at a very reasonable price because they are being discontinued. I would have not wanted to pay full price! They do look nice and are comfortable. They run very small.

12/29/2014Ordered a sz up (my 11 yr old wears a ladies 7.5 in street shoes), so I ordered the Med (8-9) but they were still too small. Elastic around the bottom of ankle is a bit snug on her foot (she has a wider foot than mine) but when I tried them on they felt fine other than being too short length wise as I wear a 9.5 in street and dance shoes. I ordered her the large so hoping those work better. Wish they came in width choices but I guess they will stretch out some after wearing them since they are sheep skin. They seem very comfy feeling otherwise and I know Capezio makes good quality items.

10/27/2014The shoes arrived later than expected, but I understand that things happen during shipping. I read the previous reviews before making my purchase and chose a size larger than what I would normally purchase. (I wear a size 8-8.5, which would be a medium and instead got a large.)
And I'm sure glad I did! They really do run small, so be advise to get a larger size when purchasing. This specific pair fits like a sock. I'm sure once I use them more, they'll conform better to my feet. I've already noticed a slight difference.

09/29/2014Bought these for my daughter because they were on sale and she was looking for dance shoes other than ballet slippers. She does modern dance and loved the look of these.
They are even cuter in person but they are definitely small. My daughter wears a 6.5 and I bought her the Medium. This size fits her but a little tight. I'm afraid that once she starts dancing in them they will not last.
I kept this pair, because she loved them so much but I did order her another pair size Large.

08/27/2014I got these for a dance class that starts in a couple of weeks, so I haven't had a chance to actually use them yet. They do run extremely small though. I ordered a size up as most of the reviews suggested, but they are still too small. I wear a size 9 1/2 street shoe, and I ordered an XL. My toes are squished. I'm hoping I can stretch them out enough to be wearable.

08/27/2014We ordered an adult small for a womens size 6 as suggested in the size chart. What showed up was a shoe that may fit an elementary school child. I cannot speak for durability and comfort because I could not get more than my toes in these shoes. ORDER UP 4 sizes.

08/22/2014I bought these shoes in a small for my daughter. When my daughter recieved the shoes and tried them on, the shoes were extremely too small. I had to return the shoes and exchange them for the size large. The large fits her feet very comfortable and plus she has room to grow inside the shoe. My daughter is a size 8 in Sasha ballet shoes and in children street shoes a size 4 and 5 (deopending on the brand of the shoe). I would recommend that if your feet are like my daughter, The size large would work best. (My daughter is 13 years-old and she has been dancing for 5 years- extra info if needed.)

08/03/2014After a month of practice, the suede patches on the sole fell right off. The soles are just sewed on using regular thread that can't take wear and tear from a dance floor. I used for salsa practice.

07/17/2014Hard to give an overall rating since they couldn't be worn... I bought these for my 12 year old daughter and ordered a larger size based off the reviews I read. They still are extremely small. Unfortunately, she needed them for a dance performance this weekend. :-( Maybe next time...

07/06/2014I ordered before looking at the sizing issues of them, but ordered a size up compared to what I normally wear. I wear a 4.5 to a 5.0 but ordered the small. They were still small on my feet ,my toes couldn't flatten on the floor for turns, but not to the point that I couldn't use them. Despite the shoes being small, I adore them! I ordered them for a quick show performance and ended up using them as rehearsal shoes for CATS. I am going to purchase the nude ones for the performance of the show. The durability of them isn't bad at all. I have had them for 4 months and wear them nightly for 3-4 hours of dance and they've held up, except for a few stitches on the pads, but we turn a lot on a very old unpolished wooden stage. I love these shoes and recommend them to everyone who is looking for a great inexpensive shoe!

06/18/2014I purchased these how they said to order them, but they were too small. Had to return and purchase a larger size. I wear a 7 1/2 and had to order a large. You'll need to round your size up to the next size (from 7 1/2 to 8), add two sizes to it (8+2=10) and order the corresponding size. They are really comfortable. I haven't danced in them yet. For the price I'll deal with ordering again even if they don't last long.

06/05/2014I needed nude ballet type jazz shoes for my daughters upcoming show quickly and I did not want to pay a lot for shoes that she is only going to wear 8 times outside. The price is perfect. My daughter is 9 with tiny feet. She wear a size 1. I read all of the reviews and heard that these shoes run small. With that info, I ordered two sizes hoping that at least one would fit. We ordered that petite and small. The petite were definitely small! Order up two sizes. The smalls fit and I believe that they are supposed to fit a size 6. She is a 1! Would recommend. I did send the small pair back even though they were only $10. Had to pay $2.50 to return. No biggie. We have shoes and my daughter says that they are comfortable. Wont rate durability as she is on an outside rough stage. She always ruins a pair when she is on that stage. I expect them to get ruined.

06/04/2014The size runs small. I wear a 7 1/2 so I ordered a medium (8-9). No way. The width was fine, but the toe had no where to go. I have returned for a large, though that's no where near my street size (large is 10-11). The good thing is that once I get this size variation figured out I will be able to order quality at a reasonable price. I think working off of foot length charts would be a more accurate sizing method....maybe.

06/03/2014Everyone says they are small, so I ordered bigger and they were still really, really small !!!! There is NO heel - it's hard to tell in picture but they are like bare feet - that's good if that is what you need. We need a little heel to use for jazz. It said to get small so I got medium and needed large apparently! They just barely fit. They are nice quality though for the money.

05/26/2014Be aware- size run too small! I wear 6.5 street shoes and I choose SMALL(6-7 size)according to chart , but it too small for me and slip off all time. It was discount for this and it is no financial reason to return/exchange, otherwise it feel very comfortable.

05/07/2014I was looking for a light weight shoe that felt as if i was barefoot.
It had to be flexible as i was not looking for support.
This shoe met my expectations and the price was right.
This shoe is not very durable so everyday use is not recommended.

05/02/2014I bought a size P for my 8 yr old girl and they *barely* fit her. If she wasn't taking just a quick 7 week jazz class I'd return them. She wears a child size 2.5 (average for her age) street shoe, and a size 3.5 Bloch ballet adult shoe. She likes the feel of the Fizzion a lot, but I have to wonder why DD sells shoes that are sized so completely wrong. It's a guess what size would fit properly even after reading the sizing information provided.

03/08/2014I was in desperate need of a quick, inexpensive shoe for a theatre performance. and i have to say I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE!!!! These arent the cutest, but they have worked flawlessly. the price matches the quality so dont be looking for anything fancy i reconmend the capezio e series jazz shoe, which is my pair for lyrical jazz class and comp team. these are very good if you are an acro jazz dancer. the grips on the bottom are perfect for back handsprings, layouts, and walkovers. i reconmended these for my friend joey and yes he loves them too! i recommend these for any gender. they are soo awesome! they work really well with conversion tights and stage floors. GET THEM!!!!
*******NOTE THEY RUN SUPER SMALL!!! I AM A 5-7 NORMAL AND THE MEDIUM FIT ME PRETTY WELL
Good Luck!!!!1

03/04/2014I bought these reasonably priced shoes for an upcoming dance I will be performing. I read previous reviews and ordered the shoes relatively large since I have a big foot. The shoe is very comfortable when it is the right size however, the durability is horrific! I have practiced in them twice for a total of 5 hours and I am already sewing a stitch that came lose on the side of the shoe. I would not recommend the shoe unless you need a quick fix.

02/28/2014Bought these for my daughter for dance comp. 1 pair each black and nude. Not sure if they are going to work. There is no actual heel to these like the picture leads you believe. May be sending back. They look more like ballet flats. I would only reccomend for use as an extra pair

01/16/2014As the other reviews warned, these come small. I ordered a half size larger than my shoe size and my toes were still being pinched.
The ability to lace these is great! I have very wide feet due to a bunion on both feet, so normally shoes are very constricting. These I was able to loosen in the wide region, while I kept other regions narrow. I was very pleased with this feature.
The aesthetics of this product were not important to me, although I will mention that they are not in any way cute.
Very little support, which I expected. They did not have very good grip besides the three grip pads on the bottom.
Overall, though, they were exactly what I expected for the cheap price provided.

01/09/2014So these were definitely a bargain purchase...it is yet to be determined how long they will hold up. I am writing this review before wearing the shoes because I want others to be aware that these shoes run extremely small. I normally wear a size 7 shoe, so I ordered the size small, according to the size chart. I couldn't even stretch these onto my feet. I am considering ordering a size large. Also, the ball of foot pads seemed to be in the wrong place (partially under my toes instead of being completely under the ball of my foot), but this could be because the shoes are not the correct size for my feet.

12/27/2013I got these for my daughter this fall for a talent show performance at school. Her studio uses a specific brand of shoes and her class requires tan so I wanted to get a fairly inexpensive pair of black shoes for this performance. After reading the reviews I ordered her a size larger and they fit perfectly. She says they are the most comfortable shoes ever. I wish she could wear them for classes. I would definitely order these in nude for her. For the price you can not go wrong at all!

11/14/2013The pair I ordered for my 12yo practically fit my 8yo...The M which is supposed to fit a 8 street shoe won't even go on her foot! They seem like a decent shoe (considering price and we needed multiple pair for dance at school and at the studio) for the money. My review on comfort cannot be told since we cannot get them on.

10/24/2013I wear a 6, the small fit me like a tight sock. The medium worked best, fit like a glove. Perfect for ballet, but very thing and not supportive enough for other types of dance. That being said, I wore it to theatre rehearsal for dance. The elastic and lycra started "hairing" out, and the toes got holes! By day two the neoprene started detaching from the leather and more holes. The suede patches on bottom completely came unglued and rolled off. Save the 10 dollars. Started falling apart in an hour. Not worth it!

09/20/2013I go these on a whim because they were only $10. My daughter is an avid jazz dancer and I also take jazz myself so I figured they would get used even though she has to wear a different shoe for performance. I really like that the shoes fit like a ballet slipper and promote pointed toes (which my daughters other shoes don't really.) They are fairly comfortable but I would suggest wearing tights with them as there are some seams that bother my toes. Also they run small. I ordered a large for both my daughter and myself and we wear street size 8.5 and they still seem a bit snug but do stretch out. Our jazz teacher also said that she got a pair at a conference a few years back and really liked them.

09/16/2013The shoes fit perfect, after reading the other reviews I order a large instead of the medium. This was brought up during my belly dance class, one of the women has Plantar Fasciitis and so do I. These jazz shoes will work, They give good support. Not sure if you get a bigger size to fit orthotics.

08/07/2013These shoes run smaller than the sizing chart says. My daughter wears a 5 1/2 kids tennis shoe and 5 1/2 women's dress shoe. She is wearing the shoes I ordered for my son- the XL. (They are only a tad too big) He wears a size 10 men's in tennis shoes and the XL was tight. Just keep that in mind when trying to order shoes. The good thing is they do allow you to return the shoes if they do not fit.

07/19/2013Runs way too small. I purchased them for myself...but close up picture makes it look like there is more of a padded hee and they were too small for my small feet!!. I sold to one of my students. She has had it on her foot for ballet and worn it twice the suede is coming loose under the big toe and it is not going to last another two classes!! The other student that ordered them, gave them to a young boy who takes ballet, his feet are much smaller than hers. We will see how long they last for him. Too bad, because they do emphasize a beautifully articulated Tendu. MO....ballet teacher

07/30/2012My daughter bought this shoe for jazz and wore it once per week all year and then daily for four weeks of her summer intensive. She preferred this shoe to the traditional jazz shoe which she also has and never again wore her traditional shoes after purchasing these. They have only just now gotten a tiny hole in the toe area of the slippers which I could probably repair if I chose after one year. They are really comfortable and the fit is sleek to the foot. She wears a size Medium in the Fizzion shoe and her street shoe size is 8. She highly recommends this shoe.

03/14/2012I have been dancing for well over 30 years and this has to be the worst shoe I have ever used. Runs small - especially if you have a slightly wider foot; wears out quickly;not worth the money; not as comfortable as it says in description. I know of several people who take 3 or 4 classes a week and their shoes wear out in less than a month. I would not recommend this shoe at all!!!!

03/14/2012I loved these shoes at first - I could feel the floor, they supported my feet well, they were extremely comfortable, and fun to dance in. However, after only 8 or 9 classes, the suede patches on the soles started coming off. I danced in them for one more class, but the patches on the soles kept catching on the floor, and then one of them came clean off. They are definitely not worth the money - I have paid half as much for shoes that lasted ten times as long.

11/14/2011I loved how I could feel the floor in these shoes. Like wearing socks with better support. Love the padded heel with shock support and the laces give better arch support which makes your arches look great. I didn't find much use for the multiple straps, however, and the only downfall was the lycra bottom got holes within a month (used about 3-4 times a week). Great find but not long lasting.
