Adult Convertible Tights

Tights were shipped fast and as expected. Only issue was I ordered light pink and pink to see the color difference and I received both tights, same color. Sent customer service an email with the error and never received a response.

The fabric is so soft and the waistband doesn't show through a leotard or costume. This is my second time buying these tights and they're the only ones I'm wearing from now on!!! (The only issue is that it's easy to get a run in these tights, so be careful if you have a hangnail)

I have pretty much always worn Capezio tights exclusively but recently I decided to try these out. They are very comfortable and I really like the feeling of the material, it’s nice and buttery. So, I got three more pairs to add to my tights collection. If I had a complaint it would be that the stitching around the foot hole started to come undone almost immediately.

My daughter hates tights that squeeze too hard at her waist. It makes her self conscience. But she also wanted tights that felt tight and supportive all over as well. She LOVES these tights. She feels they support her and the waist doesn't squeeze at all. These seem to run the same size as all other tights she has worn as well.

I appreciate Gaynor Minden for making colored tights for African-American and Black dancers. I am giving this four stars because the espresso color is less brown and more cartoon eggplant or purple colored. I would qualify myself as being more dark-skinned and I love that I can nicely complete the lines of my body all the way to my feet. In the future, I will get the cappuccino color, which I think is slightly lighter. Hopefully it is less purple.

These are the most comfortable tights you can get. I hate how tights suffocate you at the waist. Gaynor tights are the only ones that I know of that don't do that. I've had my tights for about six months now and I would say they are plenty durable as well. One "down side" is the color. There isn't a classic pink color that is offered in pretty much any other brand. But I would argue that this color, I ordered the light pink (which is more of a peach color), blends in with the color of shoes better. I love how the tights look uniform with my Gaynor pointe shoes and So Danca flats.

The quality and design of Gaynor Minden tights is really unbeatable! Gaynor's the only brand of tights i will get online at the moment because I know the quality will be good and they will last me a long time. My only issue is that I once accidentally got pink instead of light pink and was shocked by the color! It is a very bright orange-y pink that i couldn't use at recital for fear of standing out too much. All in all great tights, I just need to check what color I'm getting. (light pink on left, pink on right)

I've found the perfect tights! I love the light pink color, it blends with my shoes almost perfectly and the fabric is super soft but durable. And the foot hole is so stretchy I was able to roll the tights up my calf, no problem! I don't think I can go back to any other tight.

These tights are really soft and comfortable. Definitely the most comfy I've ever worn. The waistband digs in far less than other brands I've tried (Body Wrappers and Capezio), but I'd say they run short. The inseam on these is pretty short, and so is the length from crotch to waistband, but that may just be my body type.

These tights are simply perfect. I've always struggled to find a pair of tights that are durable and comfortable. They have a nice color that does not fade at all. The waistband is knit and is very soft, it doesn't squeeze on the waist like traditional tights do. Gaynor Minden is rising above all of the other brands, as quality and comfort is consistent. If you are looking for perfect tights, buy these! They also run true to size and the ordering process is easy.

I have tried so many tights over the years and I am always dissatisfied when it comes to waistbands, waistbands always roll and look unflattering under leotards. Gaynor Minden's tights have been the first waistband I have felt comfortable in and not to mention how SOFT the tights are themselves! I give them a 3 star for durability because let's face it, they are tights are prone to snags and tears!

The Gaynor Minden tights are the only tights my daughter will wear (10 years dancing ballet). They are the only tights that have a slightly wider, softer waistband so the tights don't pinch in at the waist. The light pink color is beautiful and they are more durable than other comparably priced tights (They last longer, since they don't run as easily). Buy them in bulk and save.

Over the years I've bought tights for my daughter from so many brands,...nothing, absolutely NOTHING compares to these! the material feels so luxurious,medium-weight, silky soft, highly stretchable, but super durable! I actually wash these in the machine!the foot hole has a very sturdy edge, but thin as well to be comfortable. The color holds longer than other brands,and it has a nice little satin tag,that for some reason make these look extra-special. My only complaint is the circular crotch seam, that can be seen outside the edge of the leotard, but it's really no big deal. That will not stop me from buying these awesome tights.

I refuse to wear anything but these tights. They have the softest waistband; it doesn't cut in at all! And they are super durable! Mine turn gray from washing too many times before they run or get holes.

I recently just purchased these tights because my Capezio tights lost their color really quick. I read many reviews on these tights, and I decide to give them a try. It was so worth it! The fabric the so soft, almost silk-like. The waistband is soft too! My only problem is that the crotch area down there is big. (bigger than the Capezio tights) But some people like that. I haven't worn them yet but these tights are stretchy and sure to hold up!

I absolutely LOVE these tights! They are honestly just amazing! Incredibly soft, well made, pretty color, and oh so comfortable! Easy to put on and just the right thickness. The construction seems great, although I have not worn them a ton, but no issues or tears thus far (about eight wears). The convertible hole is a bit small, and the waistband is ever so slightly tight, but the overall comfort makes up for those factors. I couldn't have chosen a better pair of tights as a first-time dancer.

These have to be the softest tights I have ever worn for ballet. They are the perfect shade of pink and the gusset doesn't give me a muffin top. I'm 5'9" and overweight but the XL fits great!

I love my Capezio Ultra Soft tights, but the waistband cuts pretty tight. These tights are slightly less thick than the Capezio ones and the waistband is a little more comfortable (though still tighter than I'd like), but after two uses, I had a run on the edge of the gusset and a big frayed strand coming off of the opening under my right foot. I still think the Capezio tights are softer, too.

I got a pair of these tights eight months ago and they were so comfortable that I got another pair two months later! They are super soft and fairly durable, my only problem was with the first pair after three months of use I got a run in the toe and the bum. I am 5'6" and weigh 125 pounds and ordered a MA and they fit well. Also I dance 10 hours a week.

I'm an adult taking ballet classes for my very first time. I've been reading forums and boards to try and find super comfortable tights. I read a lot of great things about Primasoft, and I have a pair of those that I like. But I've just tried these GM tights and holy cow. They are so, so soft, and amazingly comfortable. I don't think I'll ever buy a different brand again. Definitely recommend them.

My daughter is very picky with her tights. These Gaynor Minden are very good, comfortable and last a long time. Tip: wash them either by hand or in the washing machine but air dry them, don't dry them in the dryer. They last longer this way.

I just got these in the mail today so i can't attest to their durability but they are absolutely my favorite tights, EVER! They are sooo comfortable! They are really stretchy but at the same time they are very snug (comfortably) on the legs, they really hold everything in place and are very slimming. I also love the waist band and the color of the light pink! i used to wear capezio tights, i really liked the color of the pink and how snug and comfortable they were on my legs (like i said these were) but i didn't like the waist band, it was too tight and really digs in. these are even more comfortable than the capezio and the waist band is awesome! i am definitely going to be buying more of these!! love love LOVE!!!

These are my most favorite tights ever. They're so comfy, come in a nice peachy pink color and stretch so that you don't get those bothersome lines all around your tummy. These are my go-to ballet tights 100%

I only bought these tights to match my Russian Pointe Rubins due to their pinkish-white color. In addition, I had to match my Sansha Pro 1C's because they are a pinkish-white color as well. These were my perfect match! They are super soft and the perfect color for me. I cannot comment on durability because I have only had them for a week, but no tears so far! I am in love with these tights, no doubt(:

These tights are SO soft and ultra comfortable. The waistband is the most comfortable I have ever encountered! The waistband is not an elastic band like most other tights brands, but made of the same fabric and feels seamless. I wish these tights were seamed, they're so comfortable! I want to stock up on these - but I do prefer tights with a backseam. The convertible part of the tights are also wonderful. They are made in a way so there is no ugly seam around the edges, and they stretch well. It lies flush with the sole of your feet so you do not feel any excess fabric under your metatarsals at all. Very nice. The "pink" color isn't bad, it's not great either. It does run a bit on the peachier side of the ballet pink spectrum (Euro Pink I guess), but nowhere near as hideous as that vomit color that Capezio #9 tights. I may try ordering "Light Pink" next time, but am worried it will be bubblegum pink.

I love these tights immensely. They offer a cute style and are the favorite ones that I own. I wore Capezio before and the waist line always dug into my stomach. After reading the reviews, I decided to try Gaynor Minden tights and I love them! The waist band is super soft and the light pink is a beautiful color to wear to class, I used these in for my summer intensive audition. Buy these if you want long lasting tights!

Before I had been wearing the Capezio tights. They weren't comfy to me but they did last long. Then I tried the Bodywrappers and they got rip after rip. Then I tried these: they are so comfy and durable. I love them!

When I took it out, I was sure it wouldn't fit because it looked a lot smaller than my other tights, but it did! The waistband was true to size. It's soft!!!! But the foot openings are a tad small...I wish it would stretch out more or that they made it bigger to begin with. Also, it's verrry peachy/orangy..so it might look odd with light shoes...like Grishko flats and pointes. A lot of other girls here seem to think the color is a plus...but for me...i think it'll look odd with my shoes..oh well...

My whole life I've been wearing Capezio tights. My teacher wanted me to get "pinker" tights for YAGP, and she suggested these. I am sooo glad she did, because these are the best tights I've ever worn. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly soft they were. SO SOFT. The waistband is also wonderful, because althought its about the same width as other brands, and holds the tights up just as well, it doesn't cut into my abdomen like other brands do. This is nice because it gives a more streamlined appearance ;) I was a S/M in capezio tights, and was in between sizes, so I order one Small pair and one Medium pair. They both fit fine, no major difference in size. I'm 5'3'' about 103 lbs.

These are the best tights I have ever tried! I love them so much! The holes on the feet were a little snug at first but after tugging at them gently for a few times they were fine. I am 5'3" and about 110 lbs and I ordered a medium in light pink. They fit perfectly! They also fit my friend (who is the same height but about 10 lbs heavier than me) great. The sizing chart is pretty accurate, so you shouldn't have to worry much about them being too big/small. The waistband is heavenly on these...sooo stretchy and comfy! They don't create a bulge and I can only see them under leos if I get really close, haha. They are also fairly durable..I caught my nail on them and it did create a very small hole, but I just pulled the snag back through the hole to the inside and put clear nail polish on it (if you snag tights, take a sewing needle and a piece of thread: thread the needle through the snagged-part sticking up from the tights and pull it through with the needle to the inside. Remove the needle and dab a teeny bit of clear nail polish on it and tah-dah! Your almost-run is fixed!). The only thing I wish was "different" is that GM should offer a seamed version of these! In all, these are great tights and I would definitely recommend them!

I have always been a huge fan of Gaynor Minden, but these tights were less than impressive. While they were quite comfortable, I found the peachy-pink not so flattering on me, and they didn't do much to my leg shape either. Plus the tag was distractingly itchy.

i love these ! I have them in the peachier color and adore them! These just look good on your legs. They support nicely without being constricting also. The waistband is heaven! I wore them for 8 hours the other day and barely a mark! I'm 5' 2" and 105 and went with the medium as suggested. The fit chart is spot on, but if you have doubts go up a size! You totally won't regret these! Another user says color fades fast, but I haven't run into that. Make sure to wash on the delicate cycle in cold water and let air dry!

I have tried almost every other brand of tights on the market and have yet to find a pair that is as rip-resistant and comfortable as these. Furthermore, these tights have plenty of room for long legs, and the waistband doesn't show through leotards or fold over itself. A dancer's must-have!

I have tried about 5 different brands of tights, and ever single one of them is so tight on my waist, that it's uncomfortable. I tried these tights out because of the other reviews, and they are right, the waist band on these tights is perfect - not too tight, doesn't roll, and doesn't sag. They are great tights and really comfortable. I'm buying three more pairs to replace my other tights.

These tights are amazing! They're extremely soft, the pink hue matches my shoes perfectly, and they make your legs look really good! I would definitely recommend these to any dancer. Before buying these tights, I always used Danskin, but these are much better quality and cheaper.

I absolutely love the color of these tights. They look orange in the package, but they are beautiful on. It feels like I am wearing silk. I only gave them 2 stars because I expect more than one wear out of my tights. I wore the current pair for an hour, while teaching a beginner class, and there is a long run up the back.

Just like... perfect. So comfy you never want to take them off. The waistband doesn't cut off the circulation in your gut! It sits at the perfect place above the hip. You don't have that 'oh look . . . she's wearing tights' thing going on. They're practically invisible under a leotard or dress. Worth the price. Thank you Gaynor Minden!!!

Phenomenal tights! I just bought a pair for an audition and fell in love with them. They are super flattering but very easily torn. Be very careful when putting them on. I haven't gotten any tears yet but it snagged a little on my nail as I was taking them off. As long as you take proper care of them like you would any other dance item, like hand washing and air drying, they stay great.

These are the best tights I have had. A lot of people said that they got runs in them and they are not durable. These are soft, feel wimpy but STRONG! I love the shade of pink too. I highly, highly, highly recommend these tights.

I was amazed at how soft these tights were. . .I thought my other tights were soft, but I immediately felt an extreme difference right away! I recommend these to everyone...it's almost like a necessity now. I feel so uncomfortable when I'm not wearing these!
