These are easy to cut and sew in place. The don't stretch which adds and extra level of safety for beginner and intermediate dancers. There is plenty left over in case a beginner makes a mistake sewing their ribbons themselves or to make hair ribbons for adoring little dancers coming up who want to be like the older dancers.

LOVE THESE RIBBONS
I love these ribbons so much. The texture is so nice. It's not an exact match to my nikolay 3007 proflex pointe shoes but is close enough :)
Love the way they feel too when tying them on.

GREAT RIBBON!
the double-facing of the satin on this ribbon makes it a tad thicker than single-faced ribbons which i like a lot and makes it more durable. the thickness does make it a tiny bit harder to tie however. i thought the satin on the inside would also make it feel slippier against tights or skin but that hasn't been too much of a problem. it's a pretty pink-peach color that complements bloch pointe shoes perfectly.
