SIZING FITS GOOD

RUNS SMALL
Sizing advice is useless. I've ordered two sizes so far and will have to order multiples to get a correct fit. Unfortunately, I wore the second size so cannot return them. They really hurt the big toe on my right foot.

PERFECT SHOES!
I needed a new pair of ballet flats for my classes I teach and these were perfect! The sole has the perfect amount of padding and the color was a perfect match! I usually am a size 7 1/2 in normal shoes and I got a 7, so I suggest going a half size smaller than original size

GOOD BUT NEEDED A BIGGER SIZE
These are required wear for my daughter's Vaganova school (flats). She recently grew in length due to a Haglund's bump (thick callus on the back of the heel) on both feet. The size 6.5 was way too small so I went up to 7. Unfortunately the 7's are still way too tight. Luckily we recently went to a dance store and tried on the 7.5 which fits great. These do wear out after 2 months in the toe area after hours at the barre, but they are comfortable if you get the right size.

THE BEST BALLET FLATS
Love these shoes! They don't make my feet cramp at all, and they make my arches look great. They are SO soft inside too! It feels like wearing clouds. The nude color is also perfect with my skin. These are my new favorite shoes!

SUPER COMFORTABLE, SOFT, AND DURABLE
I absolutely love these ballet shoes. the fabric is super soft and thin yet durable. my feet never feel constricted or squeezed when wearing them, as other ballet shoes have typically made my feet feel. and they have not ripped since I have bought them, unlike other shoes which have almost always ripped on the big toe part of the shoe. definitely recommend these!

FLATTERING
I love these ballet slippers. They are very flattering on the foot and the nude color is very nice. I also appreciate that the elastics came pre-attached. I recommend sizing up. My normal shoe size is 7.5 or 8 and I ordered these in 7.0B based on the sizing guide but half a size larger would have been more comfortable. The fabric isn't the most durable and the back seam on one slipper came undone after just a couple uses.

I have been wearing this ballet shoes for many years now. I tried Capezio but I had to come back to Bliss. My feet stretches a lot from when I pointe them to when I rest them on floor. This shoes don't make my feet bulky when I point them and feel comfortable when I stand on floor with entire sole touching the floor. I am happy with this shoes!

WATCH YOUR SIZING
I don't think I realized that I have a slimmer foot than average before buying these shoes I purchased a regular width and they're a little more roomier than I tend to prefer but overall not uncomfortable or unable to dance in. I've worn these to teach in a handful of times so far and they seem to be holding up fairly well. The elastics are very strong and the padding in the soles isn't so thick that it feels like a rock in your shoes, which I like. Not a bad choice of shoe for the occasional dancer.

Very disappointed, I didn't like the material. Cost $5 to ship and $6 to ship it back. I will not buy from here again I went to a local store and purchased a leather pair. A teacher recommended them. As someone on a fixed income a waste of money and time!!! I should not have to pay almost 1/2 the price of the shoe to buy and return. Ridiculous.

LIGHT NICE SLIPPERS BUT NOT ABLE TO ADJUST ELASTICS OR DRAW STRING
There is no drawstring to adjust, so they cut into my Achilles. The presewn elastics are a nice idea, but again too tight on my foot. I'd like them 1/2 sewn so I can adjust, or even the old fashioned way of elastics included but you sew them. I like that they are wide and crossed, not just the single elastic.
Probably great for a student who doesn't know yet how to modify their shoes, or a younger one whose parent doesn't want to sew

PERFECT BALLET SHOE
I am really happy to find a shoe that fits both of my feet because I haven't been able to find a shoe that works with my feet being about a half size different from each other. I also love the way it contours the foot. It is like a sock so I can articulate my foot without there being a ton of fabric in the way.
Overall 5 stars! But I gave the durability a 3 because I haven't used it long enough to see how long it will last.

PEACHY COLOR, ELASTIC BINDING NOT THAT COMFORTABLE
These were so highly rated that I had to see what the hype was about but these shoes were not for me. The peachy color looked terrible with my Capezio ballet pink tights and the elastic binding (instead of the drawstring) really dug into my achilles tendon and made me want to take the shoes off.
I think if you typically wear peachy colored tights the color would look great, and if you're not sensitive about pressure on the back of your foot. Sadly, these had to go back.
I followed the guidelines and ordered a half size down from my typical street shoe size (5.5W) and the shoe was just a tad loose and baggy. The wide width (D) seemed to be quite generous. I probably would have done better with a full size down if I had wanted to keep these.

This is a nice shoe that I have worn throughout my ballet training. The only complaint I have is that the leather padding inside the shoe is uncomfortable. It curls up around the edges after a couple of wears and rubs my feet when I dance.

LOVE THE FIT!!
I love the way this shoe conforms to my foot! My left foot is an 8 and my right foot is a 7.5 so most shoes are baggy in the toes on my right foot. I ordered these in a 7.5 C and they fit both feet perfectly. Plenty of support in the arch and plenty of stretch

GREAT SHOES BUT...
I reallyyyyyyy love these shoes! I ordered the white pair and the past and just transitioned to the light pink. They conform to the foot perfectly and fit nicely (ordered half a size bigger than my street shoe size) BUT the material of the white ones felt different to that of the pink ones! So weird! I almost prefer the white ones because the material is somewhat thinner, making it feel more like a sock than a ballet shoe. Either way, despite the slight discrepancy between the two pairs, the shoes are a great buy and really worth the price.

The elastic on both shoes was unraveling and the stitching began to come undone on my first use.After only 3 uses a small hole appeared. The elastic is very stiff and thick thus leaving marks every time I wore them. In all I was quite disappointed with the shoe.

I love these shoes! I’m on my 2nd pair because they seem to be thinner material and therefore less durable but they form to my arch so well. I’m a street shoe 7.5 and use a 6.5 for this ballet shoe. It’s almost like no matter the size, it will fit tightly. Opt for larger if you can.

Great shoes! Really nice quality and no odd uncomfortable padding. Fits the foot really nice and not bulky. Since they are a thinner elastic canvas and I have pretty wide feet, I find that they get holes on the outside of my pinky toe pretty easily though. Still overall pretty nice.

ELASTICS DENT MY FOOT
I ordered a size up for these shoes, which works for the most part, but the elastic lining cuts into my heel. After even 20 minutes of dancing in them, there will be a painful dent in my heel that only gets worse as I keep dancing in these. Many of my friends wear these shoes and have the same issue.
While I do like the fluidity of movement and lack of drawstrings that these shoes provide, I can't really appreciate those things when fighting back the pain of a massive dent in my heel. Yet again, this is not because of them being too small for my feet, I intentionally ordered larger shoes than what I normally wear and the elastics still did this.

VERY COMFORTABLE
I buy these for both of my male dancers (in black, of course) as well as for my 4 y.o. daughter. They are very comfortable, and the absence of a drawstring is very much a stress reliever for my very particular girl!
They do run about one whole size small, and we discovered that the WHITE ones (which my sons needed for recital last spring) actually run a little smaller than the black. So, in white, upsize an extra half size.
The durability rating is slightly lower because my older son, who dances 6 days a week, as much as 4 hours a day, was wearing them out every 4-6weeks! But that particular son actually wears his regular shoes out really fast,as well. So might not be a fair assessment. The other kids generally get good wear out of them.

BEST FLATS
These are the most comfortable canvas flats that I have tried. I would recommend ordering your exact shoe size or a bit bigger. I am a size 6 street shoe and a 6.5 in these shoes. The 6 fit my foot but the elastic was too tight and hurt my heel. the 6.5 is way more comfortable for me.

ONE OF THE BEST!
My girl has been dancing ballet for 8 years. She loves this shoes over other flat shoes she has tried. She says it’s easy to turn and make her feet look nicely pointed. We got white one this time for her Snow Queen rehearsals as well as her regular light pink.

GREAT BALLET SHOE!
These shoes are really great. The fir and feel is great. Just go by the recommendation that is supplied for the sizing. My daughter dances 6 days a week so when I say these wear out a little sooner than other brands she is also dancing a lot more! She reports these shoes are the most comfortable than any others she’s worn!

COMFORTABLE, FLATTERING, NOT AS DURABLE AS HOPED
Let me first off start by saying that these shoes are so super comfortable! They are soft, the heel padding is nice for jumps, and the split sole makes finding my demi point lots easier. These shoes have a very appealing silhouette and really show off my arches well. Turning is a breeze and the foot articulation in these shoes is far better than any other pair I have had. My only complaint is I wish they were more durable. It could possibly be the floor at my studio, but I end up buying 5-6 pairs of these shoes a year. I have also had a few shoes that the elastic broke off of on the first wear, but nothing a little sewing couldn't fix.

MY FAVORITE BALLET SHOES
Sizing says 0.5 to 1 size smaller than street shoes. I wear an 8 or 8.5 in street shoes and have somewhat narrow feet - especially around my ankles. The 7B size fits my feet like a glove - both right out of the box and after months of wear. Since they are canvas they don't hold up forever, but they are a decent price and sooo comfortable. I am currently on my third pair of pink ones (in 3-4 years of recreational dancing) and just ordered a white pair to go with a costume. Very glad they come in several colors. I originally got fitted for them in a store which is probably good because I may not have tried ones without a drawstring from online. But I really like not having the drawstring. It makes them less bulky feeling.

GREAT FIT!
Great fit! Beautiful shoe! I purchased a pair for my daughter who takes ballet twice a week and they still look great. I teach several ballet classes per week and mine are torn up. I would still recommend them. They almost lasted a full season.

BEST SHOE I’VE TRIED YET!
I have been taking dance for about 4-5 years now and have ALWAYS loved this brand! I’ve tried a ton of different brands and styles and these have always been the best! I wear a street shoe size 9 1/2 and couldn’t remember what size my slippers were from the last time, so I looked at reviews and everywhere I could to see what people with bigger feet got and couldn’t find much so I just kinda winged it 😅 - I have extremely wide feet and long toes and decided to get the 8.5 B and they fit perfect! The box was rather beaten up but the shoes are fine and fit great!!

SO COMFORTABLE!
These fit like a glove - I'm never going back to non-stretchy canvas or drawstrings! The footpad works well for me, too, as it sits nicely under the ball of the foot. No pleats on the bottom to catch on the floor. I noticed such a difference in my turns the first time I wore these. I wore through the first pair quickly, but I think that's just a trade-off for the nice feel of the thin, stretchy canvas.

GO TO BALLET SHOES
This is my go to pair of ballet shoes. I’ve been wearing them for years and they are so comfortable and make my feet feel amazing. Super light and stay on your feet really well.

NICE SHOES!
I had to return these for a bigger size, but they're great shoes! I wear a 8 street shoe and ordered the 5.5B after reading another review, but my toes didn't have enough space. The 6.0B was a much better fit!

GREAT SHOES, BUT SIZING CHART IS WAY OFF
I'm a professional dancer and I love these shoes, but the sizing chart is way off. I wear a size 8 women's street shoe, and wear a 5.5 in these shoes. My friend wears a 7.5 women's street shoe and wears a 4.5 in these shoes. I ordered a 7.5 and they were ENORMOUS. I'd worn these shoes in the past, but the insides of the shoes are not labeled in any way, which makes it difficult to reorder accurately if it's been a while and you've forgotten your size, or are trying to guess based on the sizing chart.

COMFORTABLE AND GOOD LOOKING
I thought I would give these a try although I've never worn anything by Sodanca. However I'm very glad I did as these shoes are incredibly comfortable and mold to the foot. I didn't realize what nice arches I have until I tried these on. The split sole patches are also sturdy with quite a bit of springy "squish" to keep your heels and metatarsals from aching hard surfaces. I highly recommend these shoes.

COMFORTABLE AND DESIGNED NICELY.
The design for these ballet shoes is great! No drawstring, yet the edge is very flexible. The canvas is flexible and comfortable. I am typically a size 6.5 in street shoes, and I get these in a size 6B, so they do run a little bit small. The fabric is not very tough, and I have to get new pairs once every month and a half. I dance 5 days a week (at least 12 hours a week), and they only last for about 6 weeks. Otherwise, these are great shoes! They are always my go to and I would never switch to a different type.

VERY COMFORTABLE CANVAS BALLET SHOES
The shoes were purchased for my soon-to-be 11 years old daughter. She has Bloch leather shoes required by studio. We bought the stretchable canvas shoes for practice. We tried them at store and compared the shoes side by side. She wears 3.5 street size. Bloch 3.5B fits her nicely. However for So Danca, we had to go by size 5.
The stretchy canvas and no drawstrings, all these nice things make the shoes fit so comfortable. It also compliments arches as well as the overall look of feet. Highly recommend the.

SIZING
True to size, but it's all a bit of a gamble.
These were for an 8.5 year old boy, wears 4 street. So same as a girl who wears 4 street. So Womens 6 street? Then ordered one half size down - Womens 5.5. These fit well over tights, with barely one half size to grow, if that.

CONVENIENT AND GOOD QUALITY
It's great that this shoe comes with the elastic already sewn into the shoes, which makes it very convenient. Just put them on and dance! I found these shoes to run large, which meant I needed to return them and re-order a half size smaller. The other downside was it took 1 month from order to receipt because they were backordered.

WAY TOO SMALL!
My 10 y. o. daughter wears 3.5 street size. we ordered 4.5 B and she couldn't even fit in it. Unless you have ordered several pairs and know what size is going to fit you, suggestions that the website provides regarding sizing are completely useless.

STAPLE SHOE
I have tried so many brands and styles of ballet slipper and I finally found my staple shoe. It is everything I want in a slipper, perfectly form fitting thanks to the slightly stretchy canvas and fits like a glove. There is absolutely no bunching up anywhere, and the elastic replacing the drawstring is just perfect. Its also very flattering on the foot because of all these things! The light pink color blends in so nicely with typical ballet pink tights. The teensiest complaint I have would be the outer sole's edge seems to be a little thick and I feel it against the balls of my feet in petite jumps especially, but once the shoe is worn it flattens out and becomes more comfortable.
Im a size 6 street and the 3.5/B fits perfectly.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO DRAWSTRINGS!
These shoes are the best! I love that they stretch and accentuate my feet. I have always been annoyed by drawstrings rubbing against the tops of my feet, but the elastic around the top is very comfy and the fact that the elastics come sewn on is a great perk. I usually wear a ladies 6 in shoes and ordered a 6. They fit perfectly! No complaints here.

I've taken classes for 18 years, and am very particular about shoes. I've tried far more brands and types than probably anyone out there. I've got dozens of pairs in my closet that were worn a few times, then tossed. MDM's Elemental had been the most comfortable, but still didn't hit the mark. So Danca is a brand I've often overlooked, yet when my daughter was fitted for new shoes a year ago, this is the one recommended at the dance shop we went to, and she loved them. So I tried a pair for myself. They are ridiculously comfortable. My daughter would wear hers 24-7 if I let her! These shoes are beautiful, move well, give a clean line to the foot, and are durable! I had to wash a pair of hers after she spilled juice on them, and they were fine after washing. I'm still on my first pair, and she's on her third. If she didn't grow the way children do, she'd probably still be on her first pair as well. This is a line to definitely try.

I'll never go back to wearing ballet slippers with elastics after wearing these for the last few years. I absolutely do not miss the irritation of the drawstrings on the top of my foot. These shoes fit like a glove and they're just minimal, great looking shoes, which is all that I've ever wanted from a slipper! LOVE them. An added bonus is that the elastics come pre sewn. It just doesn't get any better!
